Sustainability and Social Responsibility
The UKAMA FOUNDATION cares for 500 children on Ukama's Breakfast Program. These centres include RC Gen ECD, RC Gen Soup Kitchen, Abantu Youth Organisation NPC, Come One Come All ECD, In His Footsteps ECD, Little Catterpillars ECD, Grace Educare, Priority Primary School and ECD and Visionary Can Ladies ECD. Towards the end of 2022, many feeding programmes were still recovering. COVID lockdowns had a tangible impact on young children and adults in some of the most vulnerable communities. The Real Thing donated 612 litres of Fish Oil for distribution to these centres at the end of last year. Another small way The Real Thing helps those who need it most!
